Airborne and Satellite Remote Sensing Community

Airborne and Satellite Remote Sensing Community

The Airborne and Satellite Remote Sensing Community is an ASA Community within the Climatology and Modeling Section.

Remote sensing has been a popular topic at ASA conferences and involves a diversity of researchers interested in both sensor systems, analytical procedures, and applications. Aircraft and satellite sensing is a popular method for obtaining information on the spatial and temporal distribution of vegetation and soil resources.  This community seeks to further the development and application of remote sensing in identifying, assessing, and monitoring aspects related to agronomy.
